Except for his Law division CMC docket, the last Wednesday of the month, Judge Ruth’s hearings are being conducted in-person, unless a remote appearance has been authorized by him in advance of a hearing. Judge Ruth’s clerk will automatically schedule a hearing upon filing of a motion, as has been his standard practice. His Law division CMC docket is being conducted telephonically. The day before the CMC date the attorneys (or parties in cases of self-represented litigants) will receive an email with the call-in number. Any inquiries regarding hearing procedures should be directed to Judge Ruth via email at: drruth@madisoncountyil.gov (all emails should be copied to the opposing side.)
