Will my personal information be sold?
No. Your personal information will not be sold to any outside companies. Your personal identifiable information is protected by federal and state laws.

Is my information secure?
Yes, in addition to the security standards provided above, here are a few other security facts: Paycom has approximately 30,000 clients nationwide with 46 offices and business in all 50 states that trusts Paycom with their information. They are Dual ISO certified (1 of about 400 companies in the world to achieve this standard), ISO 27001 certified (this is the gold standard for data security in our industry), and have 256-bit encryption technology. These security standards go far beyond our previous Payroll provider who was based out of Canada.
Do I have to access this system from home? What can I do from home?
Home access is not required, just an additional option available to employees to access their own pay information. You can do everything available through Employee Self-Service, except clock-in and clock-out.
Who has access to my worked and leave time records?
A list of immediate and back-up supervisors was provided by your department. Along with the Payroll Administrator, and HRIS Administrator, these are the only individuals who will have access to your time and attendance records.
When will my leave request be approved/denied?
Immediate supervisors will receive leave request notices via email as soon as the request is made.
How do I make a leave request?
View the “Learn How to Request Time Off” from the Welcome to Paycom Task list. You may also go to the “My Learning” section of Paycom for additional tutorials.
What if I do not have any current leave accrual balances, but want to make a leave request for the future?
Requests should be handle in the same manner as they are now, except you should make the request in Paycom, instead of via a paper request. You can always make a leave request to use time that you will accrue in the future, but if you do not have the hours when you are scheduled to take the leave time you will not receive pay for those leave hours.
I don't have internet access at work, how do I access Paycom?
All county issued devices should have access to Paycom. Open a web browser and type www.paycom.com. If you are unable to connect, email Craig at cledwards@co.madison.il.us.
How do I change my username?
In Employee Self Service, go to the My Information-> Change Password or Username link, and click on the Changes Username button. New username must be a valid email address.
When will pay checks be delivered?
Paper checks will be distributed to departments for employee distribution Friday mornings at 10:00 a.m. Payroll will not provide individual employees with a check. Only authorized department representatives.
Who has access to my direct deposit information?
Only the Payroll Administrator and HRIS Administrator have access to this information. This is not a change from past practice. Any changes made to your Direct Deposit information will generate a verification email sent to the employee.
